Students can confirm their status on a course section waitlist through Workday. On the student profile page, students can review the list of Current Classes to see the Waitlisted Sections, or students can click on the Academics section from the left-side menu bar.

From the Academics tab, students can click on Current Classes to view enrollment information.

Under My Waitlisted Courses, use the scroll bar to view additional information about each waitlisted course section. This view indicates that the student is number one on a waitlist, and is also the only student on the waitlist (1 of 1).

Students who are offered a seat in a waitlisted course section will see two notifications within Workday. The first is in the welcome bar, notifying students of a task awaiting action.

The second notification for waitlist advancement will be in the task inbox in the upper right-hand corner of the Workday screen.

Clicking into the action item will bring the student to the page to Confirm Waitlist Advancement.

Students should pay close attention to the section detailing when the Waitlist Offer Expires. Students have 48 hours to make a decision on waitlist advancement before the waitlist notification will expire, and the open seat is offered to the next student on the waitlist.

Students will see three options for waitlist advancement:

1. Submit: Enrolls the student into the waitlisted course section

2. Remove From Waitlist: Removes the student from the course section waitlist.

3. Deny: Skips the student's position on the waitlist; but keeps the student on the waitlist for future enrollment opportunities.

Students who need to drop a current course to make room for the waitlisted course section can use the scroll bar to access the Drop Registered Courses section of the screen.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen to select Deny or Submit, according to the definitions listed at the top of the screen. Once a decision is made to Deny or Submit, that decision will be processed. Click the three dots to the left of Deny to cancel out the task. Make a decision before the Waitlist Offer Expires or the next student on the waitlist will be notified of an open seat in the course section.

Students who choose to click "Submit" to accept a seat on the waitlist can return to the Academics tab to confirm enrollment.

Clicking on Current Classes will allow students to view their  course enrollment.

Use the scroll bar to view the Registration Status and confirm it reads as Registered.
