Registering in Schedule Planner (Advisor Usage)

The advisor will use Schedule Planner to select the student's courses and enter breaks for their schedule.

Click "Advisor Center" tile

Click "My Advisees"

Click "View Student Details"

Click "Schedule Planner." This will direct the advisor to the student's Schedule Planner. The advisor will use Schedule Planner to select the student's courses and add breaks related to their schedule.

Select the appropriate term and click "Save and Continue"

Advisors can filter course selections by location, session, instruction mode, and more. They will select courses in the "Courses" area and add schedule conflicts (work, practice, etc.) in the "Breaks" area.

Click "Add Course"

Select the appropriate subject and course number. Once selected, the course description will be displayed. To add more courses, click "Add Course"

The list of courses you have selected will appear on the right side. When done selecting the courses, click "Done"

Breaks are times when students do not wish to take classes due to other responsibilities, such as work or practice. Click "Add Break"

After courses are selected, the advisor will click "Generate Schedules," which will generate a list of schedules for the student.

Clicking "View" next to a schedule opens a calendar view that shows the days and times for the student's selected classes. Clicking the blue "i" button provides additional details about the class.

Clicking "Validate" will check whether the student has any holds, does not meet course prerequisites, or has previously taken a course. Any holds must be reviewed in Campus Connection before enrollment. Once a Schedule is selected, the advisor should click "Send to Shopping Cart" to add the classes to the student's cart.

To enroll in classes, the student should log in to Campus Connection and follow these steps: 1. Click on the "Manage Classes" tile. 2. Select "Shopping Cart." 3. Complete the enrollment process. Once enrolled, classes can be viewed on the Current Schedule page and will also appear under "Manage Classes - View My Classes" in Campus Connection.
