Navigate to [https://dickinsonstate.edu/index.html](https://dickinsonstate.edu/index.html)

Click "Manage Classes" Tile

Click "Schedule Planner"

You will be prompted to authenticate using your NDUS login credentials. Your login will be the same as your Campus Connection login. Select "Dickinson State University" as your institution and click "Continue." If you are not term-activated at DSU, you will not be able to enroll.

Select the appropriate term and click "Save and Continue"

Students can filter their course selections by location, session, and instruction mode. They will select courses in the "Courses" section and indicate schedule conflicts (work, practice, etc.) in the "Breaks" section.

Click "Add Course" to start building your schedule.

Select the appropriate subject and course number. Once selected, the course description will be displayed. To add more courses, click "Add Course"

The list of courses you have selected will appear on the right side. When you are done selecting the courses, click "Done"

Breaks are times when you do not wish to take classes due to other responsibilities, such as work or practice. Click "Add Break"

Select the days and times. Provide a name for the event (work, practice)

Click "Generate Schedules" to view a list of available schedules that match your selected filters.

Clicking "View" next to a schedule opens a calendar view that displays the student's days/times for their selected classes. Clicking the blue "i" button will provide additional details about the class.

This is how the potential schedule looks. Remember that you still need to register for your classes.

Clicking "Validate" will check whether the student has any holds, does not meet course prerequisites, or has previously taken the course. Any holds must be reviewed in Campus Connection before enrolling.

When you have no holds or prerequisite issues and are ready to enroll, click "Send to Shopping Cart." You will be prompted to provide permission numbers, instructor and credit selections, etc., if necessary, for the course(s).

Once ready, students should click "Register" to enroll in their chosen course. If the registration is successful, the student will receive a notification confirming their enrollment in the course(s). The classes will then appear on the student's schedule in Schedule Planner and in the Manage Classes section on Campus Connection. The classes will then be visible on the student's schedule in Schedule Planner and in the Manage Classes section on Campus Connection.

NOTE: Students must click "Sign Out" in the top-right-hand corner of the page after completing their planning in the Schedule planner.
