Restore an Entire Mailbox with DropSuite

This guide will help you restore an entire mailbox from the DropSuite console.

Dropsuite

Navigate to [https://dropsuite-au.com/sign_in](https://dropsuite-au.com/sign_in)

Click **Log In**

If you have been advised you can login with your Microsoft 365 or Google account, click on those buttons instead

If you forget or do not know your password, click on **Forgot password** and you will be sent a reset password link as long as you are the primary account holder.

Type in your Email address and Password, click **Log In**

If secondary authentication has been enabled, enter you authentication code generated by Google Authenticator

Hover over the mailbox you want to restore and click the **Restore** button

In Microsoft 365 mailboxes, you can switch between the “All-time” and “Point-in-Time” tabs in the Backup Timeline section to select a specific date and time for the restore.

Choose the scope of the restore: - Restore All emails - Restore Only Certain Emails

If under **Scope of Restore** you selected **Restore Only Certain Emails**, then select the Email Receipt Date by clicking on the calendar icon

Select the destination folder: - **Original Folder**: restores messages to the same folder as the backup. - **Existing Folder**: restores to a different folder within the mailbox. - **New Folder**: creates a new folder and add sub-folders with “/” as a separator. You can specify a name up to 60 characters, using UTF-8 encoding with no special characters (!@#$%^&\*()\_+-=\[\]{};':"). Any whitespace at the beginning or end will be trimmed.

If you selected **Point-in-time** then select the date and time you want to restore back to

Click **Start Restore** Confirm the restore details and click **Yes**, continue to begin

Track the restore status under System Status > Restores in the Dashboard
