On MacOS click LogMatic in Launch Pad, on Windows click LogMatic under the Start menu and on Linux execute "run_logmatic" from a terminal.

When using LogMatic for the first time, it will display a license entry dialog window. If you do not have a subscription license, clicking "cancel" will allow you to experiment with LogMatic but with a reduced set of features such as "saving" and "opening" search/mapping suites.

If you have a subscription license see step 3, if not now would be a good time to signup and receive a two week free trial of all LogMatic's features. A subscription can be cancelled at any time, and there will be no charge if you cancel within the two week trial period. Copy the subscription identifier from the "Welcome to your LogMatic Subscription" Email that you received after subscribing with a two week free trial.

Paste the subscription identifier into the license form, and click "OK".

LogMatic with all its features enabled is now ready to use.  See our documentation on opening files and using the regex analysis window.

To see your subscription details click "Help".  On Window and Linux this will be on the LogMatic's top menu bar.

When running for the first time, you may need to refresh the license manager by clicking "Reload From Subscription Servers"
