Scan Your Network with Avast Network Inspector

Network Inspector scans your current network for vulnerabilities and security issues that may expose your sensitive data, or leave the devices on your network vulnerable to attacks. In addition, Network Inspector shows which devices are currently connected to your home network, so you can see if anyone is using your network without your consent.

Avast

Double-click **Avast Business Security**

Click **Protection**

Click **Network Inspector**

Read about how to Keep your network safe and secure, then click **GOT IT**

Click **SCAN NETWORK**

You will then see Scanning Network which normally takes 5-10 minutes depending on the speed of your computer.

Once complete, if all is fine you should see 'No problems found on your network', click **FINISH**

You will see a message advising that 'Your connection is safe but not private'. If you click on RESOLVE, this will then open Avast SecureLine VPN to enable added protection. Otherwise, if you want to bypass opening Avast SecureLine VPN, click **DONE**

Recommend enabling Scann all devices by clicking on the grey tab

You will be prompted if you have permission to manage this network, click **YES, CONTINUE**

You have completed the scan of your network with Network Inspector, close Avast

A recommendation that Avast will make is to enable ‘Monitor this network’ which will notify you if a new device joins your network. Depending on how security conscious you are, you might want to follow this recommendation.
