Navigate to the course where the recipient is enrolled.

Click on the name of the intended recipient to open a blank email addressed to the recipient.

Click the "Subject" field and add the subject of your message. Then add your message to the "Body" field. 

When you are done composing your message, click the "Send" button.

Follow the same instructions shown above to go to your course > click "Communications" > "Classlist".

Check the boxes next to each intended recipient's name and click on the "Email" button.

A blank pre-addressed email window opens. Click the "Subject" field to add a message subject. Click the "Body" field to add your message.
