Navigate to Services. The Services section is now organised into two areas: Manage and Inventory.

Manage: Create new services, set default inventory levels, and apply restrictions all in one place.\
Inventory: Access a calendar view displaying all services, their inventory limits, and the number of bookings already made.

To add a new service, click the +Add button.

The Service code is for your reference and can be numerical or the same as your Service name.

The Service Name is the customer facing name for this service.

The Service Description is what the customer will see if this service is included in the booking engine.

Select the article you wish to use for this service.

Select the Service Type then the Department.

Select the booking pattern. Per stay to be charged once, per day to be charged daily or per quantity if more than one could be needed.

If the service should be charged per person, tick the corresponding box.\
To make the service available for guests to add to their reservation via your website, ensure the ‘Include in Booking Engine’ option is ticked.\
If you're setting up services that you don’t want to be available immediately, you can mark them as Inactive.

Once you’re done, press Save.

To Set up Inventory, select the Inventory tab.

In the Inventory Per Day field, set a default inventory amount, which is ideal for services with limited availability. For example if you only have 8 travel cots you would have this set as 8.

For varying inventory based on specific days or date ranges, use the bulk update feature to adjust levels accordingly.\
You can also view an audit log to track any previous inventory adjustments.

If you need to set restrictions, such as limiting a service to certain rate plans or room types (e.g., a dog charge that applies only to Dog-Friendly rooms), click on the Restrictions tab.\
Select the relevant Rates and Room Types, then specify the date range and days of the week for the restriction.\
Tick the box next to Closed and select Yes from the drop down.\
Click Add Restriction to save your changes.\
At the bottom of the page, an audit log records both historical and current restrictions.

When you are happy you have filled in all the information click Save.

To edit a service click on the service code name. Make you changes and click Save.

To delete a service click on the red bin icon and then click Confirm.

Inventory Calendar

The new Inventory tab in the Services menu provides a comprehensive calendar view of all your services, displaying the number of bookings for each day.\
Use the date range filter at the top to easily navigate between past and future weeks or months.\
You can also filter by specific services and choose to display “Inactive” or “Deleted” services.\
To adjust the inventory for a particular day, simply click on the booking number for the desired service and date. Don't forget to click the tick mark to save your changes.

For example if you have loaned out two travel cots to another hotel for 2 days you can amend the inventory for those dates here.
