Login to the Proofpoint portal, then click on **Account Management**

Then click on  **Domains** to display the list of domains

Click on the **Ellipsis Icon** for the domain you will create a DKIM for

Choose and Click **Configure DKIM** to start the process of creating a DKIM key

Click **CREATE NEW DKIM SIGNING KEY** to create the **Selector name** 

Then click on the  ***CREATE*** button to create a DKIM  Key

Now, Copy the **HOST** value  or the **SELECTOR NAME**

Switch to your **DNS REGISTRAR** and click on ***ADD NEW RECORD*** button 

Choose **TXT** from the **TYPE** DROP DOWN menu

A
AAAA
CNAME
MX
TXT
SRV
CAA
NS
HTTPS

Enter the Copied **SELECTOR NAME** copied from Proofpoint portal

Go back to the Proofpoint Portal, and **copy the value** in the VALUE field also know as **PUBLIC KEY**

Return to your **DNS REGISTRAR** and PASTE the copied **PUBLIC KEY** in the VALUE field, then choose the least time from the  TTL  drop down menu

Locate you **TXT record** just created and VALIDATE its creation

Return to the Proofpoint Portal, and **X out** from the DKIM creation window

Click the **Ellipsis** next to the domain we just created a DKIM for 

Click on the Ellipsis next to **Awaiting Verification**

if you Get this window then ***CONGRATULATION*** you have successfully set your DKIM

**Note:** you might need to wait few minutes or hours depending on how long the DNS REGISTRAR takes to propagate the new records

Notice that the column "DKIM Signing" shows now **Active**
