In this wiki, we show you how to:

- create a Blockmesh account by registering to their dashboard;
- install Blockmesh as a Multimining feature on your gateway;
- verify the registration of your node in the Blockmesh dashboard.

Navigate to [https://app.blockmesh.xyz](https://app.blockmesh.xyz/)and click "REGISTER" to start creating an account on the Blockmesh platform.

Provide your credentials:

- An e-mail address;
- a strong password. **DON'T use the $ symbol in your password;**
- Invite codes: 
  - ff80638b-5b09-4381-a239-b92c1c4bae22
  - 592aa64e-7ef1-4c47-94e0-d479b98bb4fe

Next, hit the "Submit" button.

Click "ALREADY INSTALLED THE EXTENSION"

*Since this wiki explains how to install Blockmesh on a Crankk gateway and not on a PC, it is **not necessary** to download and install the browser extension from the Blockmesh dashboard.*

A message saying "Extension install status updated" appears, indicating the dashboard will not ask you again to install the browser extension. That's okay. We don't need it.

*It is possible to install the Blockmesh extension later at any time if you decide so.*

Your Blockmesh account has now been created.

Scroll down the dashboard and notice the NETWORKS section shows **no data**. This means that no node has been added to your dashboard yet.

Continue with the next step to install a Blockmesh node on your gateway and have it added to your dashboard.

Head over to your gateway's Local Dashboard and navigate to the **Multimining** overview page.

Click the '**Blockmesh**' button from the Multimining options.

Provide the e-mail address and password you used to create your Blockmesh account. *Remember: **DON'T use the $ symbol in your password.***

Click "Submit" to start the installation of the Blockmesh project.

Please patiently wait for the Blockmesh installation to progress.

A green dialog box appears saying 'Blockmesh installed'. This indicates a successful install of the Blockmesh project.

A green checkmark [[✔]]should now appear on the Blockmesh button.

Now **click the Blockmesh button** to open the project's overview page.

The Blockmesh project's overview page shows:

1. **DASHBOARD**: a shortcut to your Blockmesh dashboard;
2. Blockmesh container is **up and running for 10 seconds**. That's good;
3. **Reinstall** or **remove** the Blockmesh project from your gateway.
4. This section shows the **LOG** files for the running Blockmesh container.

Verify the registration of your Blockmesh node

Check it out and click the '**Dashboard**' button. This will bring you back to the Blockmesh online dashboard.

If asked, **login** again with the same credentials you used to setup your account and click "SUBMIT".

The dashboard now shows that our Blockmesh node is '**Connected**'.

Notice the NETWORKS section now shows the **IP address** and the **country** where your node is operating from.

*In our case our Blockmesh node operates from Belgium via IP 109.138.109.138. It shows as active* [[✔]]

Every Multimining project you install on your gateway will consume resources. Mainly CPU, internet bandwidth, RAM & storage space.

Keep an eye on your gateway's performance and make sure it is not overworked, resulting in higher temperatures, higher wear and increased risk of hardware failure.\
