In this wiki, we show you how to:

- create a BrinxAI account at[workers.brinxai.com](https://workers.brinxai.com/register.php?ref=f04bce88);
- install a BrinxAI 'Relay Node' as a Multimining feature on your gateway;
- add your Relay Node to your personal BrinxAI 'Worker Dashboard'.

✔️ You will need to **open UDP port 1194** in your router for full functionality of your BrinxAI Relay Node;

✔️ only one Relay Node can operate per IP address.

Navigate to [https://workers.brinxai.com/register.php](https://workers.brinxai.com/register.php?ref=f04bce88)

- Provide your **e-mail** address;
- choose a strong **password**;
- hit "**Register"**.

✔️ *Your account will be immediately activated. There is no need for e-mail verification.*

*Continue logging into your* BrinxAI '**Worker Dashboard**' *right away.*

- Provide your e-mail address;
- type the chosen password;
- hit "**Login"**.

This is what the BrinxAI "Worker Dashboard" looks like. Notice there are no Relays added yet.

**Before continuing with adding a Relay, you should first set one up on your Crankk gateway**.

Install a BrinxAI 'Relay Node' on your gateway

1. Switch to a new tab in your browser;
2. navigate to your gateway's **Local Dashboard** by surfing its **local** IP address, followed by [[:17080]]. For example: [[http://192.168.1.34:17080]]
3. Select the "Multimining" tab in the left-hand menu.

Select the BrinxAI project button from the list with Multimining projects.

Click "Install" to install the BrinxAI Relay Node on your gateway.

*The correct settings for your Relay Node will be applied automatically by the Multimining software, no input is needed from your part.*

The Multimining script will download and install the correct version of the official BrinxAI software to your gateway.

*Patiently wait for this process to complete.*

- A green message pops up in the bottom right corner indicating BrinxAI was successfully installed.
- A green check mark ✔️ appears on the BrinxAI button.

Go ahead and click the BrinxAI button to open the project's overview page.

The BrinxAI overview page shows:

1. a shortcut to your BrinxAI 'Worker **Dashboard**';
2. the brinxai_relay container is **up and running** for 13 seconds. That's good **👍**
3. **reinstall** or **remove** the brinxai_relay from your gateway;
4. this section is populated with the BrinxAI **log** files.

Click the "Dashboard" button to navigate directly to your online BrinxAI 'Worker Dashboard' to add your Relay Node to it.

⚠️ ATTENTION! To add your Relay Node to your BrinxAI 'Worker Dashboard', you should provide your Relay Node's external IP address to the Worker Dashboard. This is the same IP as the **Remote IP address of your gateway**.

Before continuing, go **copy the 'Remote IP'** *(or external IP)* address from your gateway's overview page in your Crankk[**User Dashboard.**](https://dashboard.crankk.io/gateways/)

*Highlight the Remote IP address with your cursor. Right-click and copy it.* \

Come back to your BrinxAI Worker Dashboard and click "Add Relay Node".

⚠️ Do **not** add a 'Worker Node'. Add a 'Relay Node'!

Worker Nodes require hardware specifications that exceed the capacities of a typical LoRaWAN gateway. Crankk Multimining only supports Relay Nodes.

Paste the Remote IP address of your gateway in the designated field and hit "Add Relay Node".

Your Relay Node now shows in your Worker Dashboard as:

IP: [[129.53.184.65 ]]*(this will be **your** Remote IP)*\
Status: 🟢 Active ✓

Notice the '**Port Status**' of your Relay Node.

🟠 Unknown: the port status is being determined. This usually takes 30 minutes. 🔴 Problematic: [[UDP]] port [[1194]] is closed. You should open it.\
🟢 OK: [[UDP]] port [[1194]] is open. You are good to go.

ℹ️ [[UDP]] port [[1194]] should be opened in your router's settings to allow traffic between your Relay Node and the network:

- browse to the User Interface of the router to which your gateway is connected;
- look for the *port mapping/port forwarding/firewall* rules;
- open [[UDP]] port [[1194]] to allow traffic to [['internal host']];
- the 'internal host' is the Local IP address of your gateway on your LAN network;
- save settings!

*e.g. If your gateway's **local IP** address is [[192.168.129.34]] then the **internal** host to which the port should be forwarded to is [[192.168.129.34.]]*

After opening [[UDP]] port [[1194]] our Relay Node shows:

IP: [[129.53.184.65 ]]*(this will be **your** Remote IP)*\
Status: 🟢 Active ✓\
Port Status: 🟢 OK ✓

*Notice we are still 'Waiting for OVPN File...'. This process can take some time. Patiently wait for the OVPN file to become available. No action is needed.*

✅ Congratulations Crankkster.

You have finished setting up a BrinxAI Relay Node on your Crankk gateway. You will now start accruing points in your Worker Dashboard.

BrinxAI is a decentralised network of worker nodes and relays that power a set of AI tools such as website builders, app builders, chatting tools, audio tools, image and video generation tools and social media analytics instruments. Running a BrinxAI Relay Node is possible on a Crankk gateway and is rewarded with points in your personal BrinxAI dashboard. Points are then converted into tokens.
