    Getting Started

    Click "CREATE NEW DATASPACE"
    Name your DataSpace
Tip! You can connect to a Yahoo Fantasy League if you want, or you can skip this step. If you want to connect to Yahoo Fantasy continue to Step 3. If you want to just use historical or current season data for a sport, skip to Step 5.
To Connect Fantasy Data Click "Select Connected League" . You'll be prompted to authenticate to your Yahoo Fantasy League. Once complete you can select which team to import in step 4
Click " The Fantasy Team You want to Import"
Tip! If you don't want to connect to a Yahoo! Fantasy League, you can select the sport you are interested in instead. You'll be able import data for current and available past seasons.
To Select Sport, Only Select a Sport by clicking on the logo.
    Click "NEXT"

    Choose Data for your DataSpace

Tip! In Step 7 you'll see a list of data sets you can choose from. Each data set (ex. Team Stats) has a variety of data points you can include in your DataSpace. The steps below will provide detail on selecting and joining data sets together to complete your DataSpace.
Click a Data Set you want to include in your DataSpace. In this example we'll use Player Info.
Choose the data points from the Player Info data set that you want to include in your DataSpace by clicking to select.
In this example we'll choose Name, POS, and Status. Once you've selected some data fields, click "Next"
Tip! You can continue to select more data or you can create a DataSpace using just a single data set. If you'd like to just use one data set, skip to Step 22 using this link: [https://scribehow.com/shared/SportWise_How_to_create_and_use_a_DataSpace__sLzxLXWFTEyZ4-LowdDITw#00603525](https://scribehow.com/shared/SportWise_How_to_create_and_use_a_DataSpace__sLzxLXWFTEyZ4-LowdDITw#00603525)
Choose another Data Set. In this example we'll be joining Player Info and Player Injuries to create a DataSpace with data from both data sets.
Choose more fields to include in your DataSpace.
Once you've selected some more data, click "next".

    Create a Join

Tip! For more advanced breakdown of Joins please see the Advanced Guide here: [https://scribehow.com/shared/SportWise_DataSpace_Join_Advanced_User_Guide__JTCbLNldTmy8VyirHkaYxw](https://scribehow.com/shared/SportWise_DataSpace_Join_Advanced_User_Guide__JTCbLNldTmy8VyirHkaYxw)
Tip! A "Join" is how SportWise helps you to connect multiple data sets to create your DataSpace. This requires the use of a 'Primary' and 'Foreign' keys. These keys are typically a common field between two data sets. A typical example of a common field that can be used as 'Primary' and 'Foreign' keys is 'Player Name', as it exists in many data sets.
In the following steps you'll see an example of how to join two data sets for your DataSpace combining 'Player Info' and 'Player Injuries' using 'Player' as the Key in the Primary Data Field and Foreign Data Fields. Click "Select Primary Data Set" .
Select 'Player Info (Reliant) first to begin building our DataSpace. This is the first of two data sets that SportWise will join together.
    Click "Select Foreign Data Set"
Select 'Player Injures (Reliant)' as the Foreign Data Set in order to create a Join to 'Player Info'
    Click "Select Primary Data Field"
You'll see multiple options in the 'Primary Data Field' dropdown. We'll use 'Player' as the 'Primary Data Field' because we know it exists in both data sets we want SportWise to join.
    Click "Select Foreign Data Field"
Select the same 'Primary Data Field' that you selected in the step above. In this example we'll chose 'Player' again.
Tip! The "key" you use to connect the data sets will have an impact on how your data is connected and displayed. Try experimenting with different "keys" to get to the data you are looking for.
    Click "CREATE JOIN"
The completed Join should look like the screenshot below. Once the Join is created, click "CREATE DATASPACE" to have SportWise generate your new DataSpace.

    Optional: Select More Data

Tip! You can add more data and repeat the steps above until you have chosen all the data you want to include in your DataSpace.
To join additional data sets, click "ADD MORE DATA". The data sets available are limited to those selected on Step 7. Repeat Steps 13-21 to create additional joins.

    Create and Save a View

Tip! View is the way your DataSpace will appear - arranged, sorted and filtered the way you saved it. There are no limits on the number of views you can create. SportWise data is automatically updated daily, so by creating and saving multiple Views you can easily access different arrangements of your data.
Filter and Sort your data into a configuration you like.
