Student How-To: Submit a Course Reinstatement Request

Students enrolled in eCore/eMajor courses are required to complete attendance activities in each course. Students who fail to do so by the due date will be marked absent by their instructor. Any student marked absent in a course will receive an email notification from the eCampus team. If a student feels they have been marked absent in error, they may request reinstatement into the course by the deadline listed on the email notification.

Log into the [SEADS Student Portal](https://seads.ecampus.usg.edu) and click on the Course Offering.

Click the green button labeled "Click Here to Submit a Course Reinstatement Request"

Complete all required fields on the Course Reinstatement and click "Submit"

Course Reinstatement Requests are automatically routed to the instructor for review. Students will receive an email notification indicating instructor approval or denial of the request within 2 - 3 business days. If approved, the reinstatement request will be routed to your home institution for processing. Final approval is at the discretion of the home institution.
