Navigate to [https://dca.app.sagebionetworks.org/](https://dca.app.sagebionetworks.org/)

Select AD Knowledge Portal - backend, Click "Next"

This is an example folder "DCA_Human_Test_biospecimen". Click "Next"

Select your metadata template based on the data type and folder selected.

Open the template in Google Sheets and fill out the required attributes highlighted in blue. Additional attributes may be added. 

Download the file. Click "Comma Separated Values (.csv)"

Click "Browse..." to upload your saved csv file.

It will show you a preview and highlight missing fields or potential errors.

This is an example of an error message. Fix your errors and re-upload and re-submit your metadata file.

Click "Submit data" once you have no errors.
