As an IQP, you may have been assigned as a specified systems inspector and received an email, or been provided a URL or QR code, inviting you to perform an annual inspection using the BMIS platform. The email will look like it does below. To begin the inspection click on the 'Access' link provided in the email. You will not need a username or password to access the inspection. You can also scan the QR code with your mobile phone to be taken to the same place.

The submission form will have some non-editable fields, please check these details are correct before continuing. You can view or download the current Compliance by Clicking "Compliance schedule".

Once you have completed your annual inspection, please submit either a form 12A or an S-RaD, by clicking on the upload buttons as shown below.

Enter the relevant dates for the document.

If a 12A was uploaded, access to upload an S-RaD will be blocked, and vice-versa.

Click "Annual Report" to upload the associated Annual Report document.

If there are Defects or remedial actions to be followed up on, these can also be added here. Click "Add Remedial Action"

The external ID can be used if there is an ID that is referenced in a system external to BMIS.

Optional: You can also mark the location of the remedial action required on a floor plan. Click "Mark Location on Floor Plan".

You can select a point icon, line or polygon to draw onto the floor plan. Once selected, click on the floor plan to place the shape.

Once the feature is drawn, click the green tick to accept the drawing. You can also add labels to the plan by using the "T" text tool.

Click "Submit" to save the remedial task. You can add as many remedial actions as are required.

You can edit or remove your content before submission.

Once all information has been captured. Click "Submit" to finish the process.

Tip! The building manager will receive an email notification informing them that your annual inspection has been completed.
