Admins can take various actions on general requests.

To take an action, go to your 'Request Management Center.'

All the general requests are recorded under the 'General' tab in the Request Management Center.

To take an action, click on the three dots in the 'Actions' tab. You can comment on the request, resolve or deny it and take several actions, including check-in or checkout the asset relevant to the request.

To comment on the request, click 'Comment.'

You will be taken to the following window, where you can add a comment and tag another user. You can also choose to keep it as an internal comment by selecting the 'Do not show this comment to requester' option.

Once done, click 'Comment' to save the comment.

A comment icon will appear under the 'Title' tab for the requester as a comment is added.

If the comment is made visible to the requester, then it will appear like this on their Request Portal.

Click 'Take action' to specify the item relevant to the request. From here, you will be able to check-in, or check out the item as needed.

You will be taken to the 'Quick Item Center' where you can select the item. Click 'SELECT ACTION' to check-in or checkout the item. For instance, if we click 'Check-in' in this case, the Smart LED TV will be checked in immediately.

Click 'View Details' to view the request history, including details of all the actions taken to fulfill it.

This is how the details will look like. You can go to the 'Events' tab to see the actions taken.

If a request has been approved, its status will change to 'Approved' and if it has been denied, it will be 'Denied.' If an action still needs to be taken, the status will be set as 'Pending' You can click on the comment sign to review the comment you added to the request.

The Status tab will be updated for the requester right after an action has been taken on the request.
