Taking a Trade on CoinDCX

This guide walks you through the simple steps to place a trade on CoinDCX, from selecting the trading pair to setting stop loss and take profit levels, helping you trade confidently and manage risk effectively.

Click on the highlighted area in the image to select the trading symbol.

Select the trading symbol—**BTCUSDT** in this case—as per the signal received.

Click on **“Leverage”** as shown in the image

**Select Your Leverage**\ Leverage allows you to trade with more capital than your actual balance. **For example, if you have ₹1 and select 50x leverage, you can place a trade worth ₹50.** However, higher leverage also increases risk. It can lead to quick losses and may result in your account being liquidated. **Recommended Setting:**\ To manage risk effectively, we recommend using low leverage. Setting leverage to **1x** is the safest option.

Select the type of trade you want to place—**Market Order** or **Limit Order**. - **Market Order**: Executes the trade immediately at the current market price. - **Limit Order**: Executes the trade only when the price reaches your specified level. For example, in the example we buy at **$108,200**, set a **Limit Order** at that price.

Click on **“Buy/Long”** to place your trade

Click on **“Add SL & TP”** to enter your Stop Loss and Take Profit values.

Enter the Stop Loss (SL) and Target (Take Profit) value. For example, enter the Stop Loss (SL) as **$107,659** and the Target (Take Profit) as **$109,282**.

CoinDCX allows only one take-profit target at a time—either Target 1 or Target 2. So, enter the target you prefer to use for your trade.
