The Custom Look Fors tool allows every user to create an unlimited number of teacher/student look for lists. To configure, navigate to "Tool Configuration" and select "Custom Look Fors" in the drop down menu.

The Custom Look Fors that are available to you will be listed here and will also be available when you use the observation tool. Select the "New Look For List" button to create a new customized list. Notice it is also possible to use a CSV file to upload your look fors list. Click on "Upload CSV" to learn more.

To create your Custom Look For tool, give the look for list a name, add your list labels, and your look for elements. You can add additional labeled lists as needed. Edit your email subject line and intro to fit your new observation tool best. Review for additional default options that you may set.

Notice that each Custom Look Fors list can be shared with other users. The owner of the list can choose to make the shared list "view" only or give others permission to "edit." Once a list is shared, it can not be unshared. This is to ensure data reliability across all users and their observations.

Look For Lists that have been shared with you can also be hidden by you. To hide a shared look for list, select the "closed eye" icon in the actions area on the list's row. To see hidden lists, tick the "Include Hidden Lists" box which will also allow you to unhide a hidden list. The "Include Archived Lists" will allow you to view any archived list. Only lists you own can be archived by you. Once archived lists are visible, you can choose to restore them if needed.
