Today, we're going to look at the components of a workflow. From your Chat dashboard, click "Workflows"

If you want to use an existing workflow, click "All Workflows"

Then you can search for the workflow that you would like to use in the Search bar. 

And at the top, you'll even see your most recent workflows used. 

For a brand new workflow, click "New Workflow" from your left-hand side menu. 

Building your workflow couldn't be easier.

Simply type the workflow you want to build. For example, this is the prompt we used:\

"Build me a workflow to transform a blog post into social posts for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter." \
\
Describe your workflow in plain English, and watch [Copy.ai](http://Copy.ai) build it for you. 

When you've entered your prompt, click the "Run" icon. 

When the workflow is ready, the right-hand side editor will popup asking for your input. \

Now, in this example, we could copy and paste a blog's content in. But we want to make it easier by just adding a blog post's existing URL.  

For that, we'll need to change the original workflow. 

Just like you built the original workflow, you can type the changes you want directly in the builder.

For this example, we added the following context: \

"Make the input a blog post URL instead of a blog post."

When the workflow is done being rebuilt, click "Test"

Enter your input in the right-hand side editor. In this case, it's the "The URL of the blog post"

Look over the results. You can now edit the output at a granular level as needed. 

In this case, we want to make changes to step 3. 

And add more context in the right-hand side editor. This is where you can make changes to specific types of content (in this example, we only want to change the output for our LinkedIn posts).

Write a compelling LinkedIn post using the summary and blog post as reference. Use industry jargon and make it professional.

If you're happy with the updated content, click "Publish" (otherwise, continue editing). 

And now your workflow is ready to use! 

To run your workflow in bulk, click "Table"

Working with a CSV list and don't want to enter the information manually? No worries! 

Click "Import CSV"

Then you'll be prompted to drag and drop your list here. \

And when you have the output you need from your table, you can click "Export CSV" to have that information saved to your device. 

Then if you want to connect this to the other tools in your stack, click "API" from the top navigational menu. 

This gives you an iframe that allows you to copy your workflow and embed it on a webpage. In doing so, you can have your audience enter input and run the workflow. 

For example, [our blog's main page](https://www.copy.ai/blog) has a magic form that helps us understand what workflows users are trying to build. \

When they enter that information, a workflow kicks off to give personalized recommendations to new users.

Finally, at any time, you can go back to the "Build" view of your workflow to make changes as needed.

You can also click "Chat History" to see how the original workflow was built. 

Doing so will show you the Chat's history in the right-hand side editor:
