I loved the Productive/Culture Alignment quadrants. Many of our clients struggle with the highly productive employees who are out of alignment with their culture. This gives me a very simple visual to help them understand they need to move those individuals out. I also liked sticking to a Thematic Goal that's only 90 days or less, and being okay if teams don't always want/need a rallying cry. Very helpful!

I have a topic for everyone. I am doing a team offsite on Monday with a team that is one level down from the executive team. I worked with the exec team two months ago. In doing some pre-work, all of the members of the team are bought in to the…continue

I have a topic for everyone. I am doing a team offsite on Monday with a team that is one level down from the executive team. I worked with the exec team two months ago. In doing some pre-work, all of the members of the team are bought in to the process, except one. One of them is not engaging, seems to lack trust, and there is some frustration. I know the CEO and the leader of this team has been working with this person on some issues. I am prepared and will be walking them through ITP, WG (they already did this) and 5D's. What does it mean to be a cohesive team? What will be the team norms for this team, etc. Based on the above, any specific advice on assuming the best, engaging with the person described above, and making it a transformative session for entire team?

Yes, exactly! A more targeted approach to guide conversation so it’s discussing HEALTHY aspects (minimal misused politics, minimal confusion, etc) and not just SMART as you think about a SWOT
