It is highly recommend keeping Avast Firewall enabled at all times, unless you need to disable it temporarily for troubleshooting purposes.

Double click **Avast Business Security**

Click **Protection**

Click **Firewall**

Click on the green (ON) slider

Either click on **10 MINUTES** or **MORE OPTIONS** for further time durations

If you click on MORE OPTIONS, select either **1 hour**, **5 hours**, **Until I restart my PC** or **Until I turn it on again**

The Firewall is now temporarily turned off. To turn the Firewall back on, click on the Firewall slider so that it changes from red (OFF) to green (ON)
