Here you will see the 4 booking statuses.

By default, all new bookings come through as **Pending**. You can manually update a booking’s status to **Approved** once you’re ready to accept it. If you prefer bookings to automatically come through as **Approved**, you can adjust this setting in the **General Settings** under **Default Booking Status**.

Additional to the bookings coming through as pending by default, the **Pending** booking status will also be shown when someone attempts to book but doesn't complete the payment.

When you receive a booking, you can easily check the payment status by visiting the **Payments** section. Additionally, the status is visually indicated by a color-coded flag for quick reference:

- **Green:** Payment has been successfully made (**Paid**).
- **Gray:** No payment has been made (**Not Paid**).
- **Yellow:** Payment is in progress or awaiting confirmation (**Pending**).

The **Approved** booking status will be shown when a booking is made with payment (If required). This time slot/booking date will become 'busy' in your calendar.

The **Cancelled** status can be used if a customer wants to cancel their booking. You will edit their status to this.

Once the booking status is changed to cancelled, the time slot/date will, become available in the calendar again.

The **Rejected** status can be used manually if you are not able to accept the booking.

To add your own status, you can click on 'ADD' and enter the status details and click save.

To add an icon, you can head to <https://fontawesome.com/v5/search> and add the icon code. For example, if the code shows as *'&lt;i class="fas fa-triangle"&gt;&lt;/i&gt;'* you would use the section between the two speech marks and paste 'fas fa-triangle' into the icon box

If you want your custon status to block out time in your calendar, be sure to click 'Mark as busy slot'.
