To power the unit on, tap the button on top. If it is off, the light around it will be white. It will turn green when its turned on

When the camera turns on, it will always have the content light on. If you do not need this light, scroll to the right on the touch screen. Simply place your finger on the tool bar at the bottom, and swipe left until you get to the "light bulb" option. This will turn off the light.

To scroll in and out, use the wheel that highlighted in the image. To Zoom in, roll the wheel down until it stops. If you need to zoom in more, let go of the wheel, then roll it down again. It will give you a little more magnification. To zoom out, roll the wheel up.

This document camera has a "Freeze" option. While you are showing content on the tv, you can hit this button and it will freeze the content on the big screen, but not the tiny display screen in front of you. This screen will still update so you can see what you are looking at. This is useful for when you want to show students something, give them time to look at it, but allows you to get the next item ready to show. Tap the "Snowflake" button and it will update the image on the screen.

When you are done with the document camera, PLEASE turn it off. Please DO NOT leave these on.
