Video Encoding to MP4

      Click here: After opening TMPGEnc you should click on Start New Project - Normal Mode
      Click here: Click the X and close down the Source Wizard Pop Up Window
      You are now at the main screen of VMW 7.
      Double-click here: Go to your hard drive and find the video file that you would like to encode. In this example I am opening my D: Drive
      Click here: I am selecting the .mpg file that I plan to convert and I drag it over onto the main window of VMW 7
      Click here: The video editor should pop up. We have no reason to edit this video so we will simply click OK.
      You can see where the orange dot is located, this is where the properties of this video reside. This gives us our information about what kind of video file it is. Notice that everything is MPEG 1. That is fine because we are going to convert this to MP4.
      Click here: Click on the Format Button in the TMPGEnc Workflow Bar
      Click here: Click on MP4 File output
      Click here: Select H.264 / AVC
      Click here:
      Click here: Select x264 as the Video Encoder
      Click here:
      Click here: Now click Select
      Click here: Change the Rate Control Mode from VBR to CBR
      Click here:
      Click here: Change the bitrate to 1.5
      Type "1.5"
      Click ENTER to save the bitrate
      Click here: Select Audio
      Click here: Drop down for more selection of the Stream Format
      Click here: Choose MPEG-4 AAC Main Profile
      Click here: Go back to the Video area
      Click here: Click Encode in the Workflow Bar
      Click here: Click Browse to choose where to save your file
      Click here: We have chosen to send the new one right to the D drive.
      Click here: Click Save
      Click here: Click Start. Once this is complete, you will now have a correctly encoded MP4 waiting for you to use in OnCue.
