Access **WeldCloud Link** app settings clicking on hamburger menu icon

Default: **Logout on disconnect** is **ON**

Go back to **WeldCloud Link** main screen

Click **Connect** and select WeldCloud enabled device you want to connect to

Click **BEGIN SCANNING** and login with your operator ID

**WeldCloud Link** identifies you as an operator and will start to tag your operator details to welding sessions performed on the machine you are connected to

Let's see what happens when you disconnect **WeldCloud Link** from the WeldCloud enabled equipment

Let's see what happens when you disconnect **WeldCloud Link** from the WeldCloud enabled equipment. Disconnection could happen automatically when you close **WeldCloud Link** app or on a **WeldCloud Universal Connector**, when it goes into sleep mode to save battery life.\
Disconnection could also be forced directly on **WeldCloud Link** app

Since **Logout on disconnect** setting is on, operator will be logged out from the welding unit and following welding sessions performed on that welding equipment will not be tagged with operator details

If you want operator to be tagged even when **WeldCloud Link** is disconnected from WeldCloud enabled equipment, set **Logout on disconnect** to **OFF** in **WeldCloud Link** settings

This way, when a manual or an automatic disconnection happens, operator will continue to be tagged on following welding sessions performed on the welding equipment
