We’re a small team of high-craft designers that create intuitive experiences to spark joy. When designing, we consider all states, responsiveness, accessibility, and love using and evolving a design system. We find appropriate moments to inject fun into the product. From corner radii to edge cases — we sweat the small stuff, knowing that thoughtful details = user trust.

User love is a massive part of Scribe’s success. We’ve strengthened this over the years by reciprocating the love — listening to our users’ pain points and relentlessly solving them.
Before designing anything new, we establish a thorough understanding of the user problem and use cases. We dig into research and ask questions. We prioritize understanding the WHY before digging into the WHAT and HOW.
🧠 Deep product understanding
At Scribe, designers aren’t assigned to a certain product area. They can and are expected to zoom out and have a deep understanding of the product holistically.
Every designer at Scribe considers how experiences flow together in the product to ensure cohesion. We ask qualifying product questions and are confident in forming perspectives based on customer calls. Designers on our team don’t need a detailed PRD to get started — just a clear goal and a collaborative team.
🤝 Collaboration and ownership mentality
Scribe designers collaborate closely with their Product and Engineering counterparts and the rest of the design team.
We must be proactive communicators who give and receive feedback clearly with kindness. We do this by building trust with teammates, operating with low ego, and balancing listening with leading. If someone on our team has an idea, they speak up and drive to bring it to life.
