You will not be able to reserve any exams in myDSS if you have not completed all your required e-form agreements for the term. These are to be completed at the beginning of each new term.

Complete any Required E-Form Agreements ***before*** reserving your exams in the myDSS system.

Click "**Alternative Testing**" under the "Accommodations" tab

Select the course you would like to reserve for using the "**Select Course**" dropdown menu.

- If the exam date is listed in the **Available Exam Dates** drop-down menu, the exam details (campus, date, time, and standard duration) will automatically populate. - If the exam date is ***not*** listed in the **Available Exam Dates** drop-down menu, you must manually complete all required fields, including the exam campus, date, time, and standard duration.

Select the preferred exam date from the "Available Exam Dates" Drop-down menu. - If the exam date is not listed in this drop-down menu, select the "**The Exam I'm Scheduling Is Not Listed**" option in the drop-down menu.

If there are specific accommodations you do not want for a particular reservation, leave them unchecked. Keep in mind that unchecked accommodations are not guaranteed to be available during your exam, so it is your responsibility to notify the DSS Testing Center to add or remove accommodations prior to your reservation.

Review and select all accommodations you wish to have for the exam reservation. - Students are not required to select all approved testing accommodations for each exam reservation and may choose the accommodations they wish to use for each course.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select **"Add Exam Request"**

- Once an exam is successfully scheduled in myDSS, students will receive an automated confirmation email to their TWU Gmail account. - Students may also view all submitted exam requests by logging into myDSS, selecting the **Alternative Testing** module, and clicking **“All Exam Requests”** at the top right of their screen. - Students can modify any reservation submitted. Students should be aware that these modifications are not automatically approved. All changes must be manually reviewed and approved by DSS staff. Changes to exam dates or times require additional processing time, as DSS requires direct confirmation from your instructor before updates can be made. Questions or concerns may be directed to DSS or [**testdss@twu.edu**](mailto:testdss@twu.edu).

Exam request statuses indicate the progress of your reservation. A **“Waiting for Instructor”** status means proctoring instructions have not been completed, and DSS cannot approve the request. An automated email is sent to the instructor, and students are encouraged to follow up directly to ensure the instructions are completed.
