**Overview**
The Subscription Wallet Inter-Wallet Transfer feature allows authorized Super Admins to transfer subscription funds from one school's Subscription Wallet to another school's Subscription Wallet within the SchoolsFocus network.
This feature is designed to provide flexibility for school groups, sister schools, and multi-campus institutions that manage multiple SchoolsFocus subscriptions and may need to reallocate prepaid subscription funds between schools.
Subscription Wallet transfers are processed instantly within the SchoolsFocus ecosystem and do not require intervention from the SchoolsFocus Support Team.
**Common Use Cases**
***1. Supporting Sister Schools Within a School Group***
Many educational groups operate multiple schools under the same ownership, management, or brand.
In some situations, one school may have excess subscription wallet funds while another school within the group may require additional funds for subscription renewals, upgrades, add-on services, or other platform-related charges.
The Subscription Wallet Inter-Wallet Transfer feature enables the group to move funds between the schools quickly without requiring fresh payments.
***2. Centralized Funding and Distribution***
Some school groups prefer to fund a single school's Subscription Wallet and subsequently distribute funds internally to other schools within the group.
This allows a central finance team to manage subscription funding from one location while allocating funds to individual schools as required.
***3. Correcting Funding Errors***
In certain cases, subscription funds may have been credited or deposited into the wrong school's Subscription Wallet.
Rather than requesting manual intervention, authorized Super Admins can transfer the funds to the intended school's Subscription Wallet directly from the portal.
***Important Security Information***
- Subscription Wallet Inter-Wallet Transfers can only occur between eligible Schools Subscription Wallets within the SchoolsFocus network.
- Funds cannot be transferred to external bank accounts, personal accounts, fintech wallets, or any destination outside the SchoolsFocus ecosystem. This restriction is intentional and forms part of our security architecture to protect subscription funds, reduce fraud risks, and maintain a secure financial environment.
- Subscription Wallet funds are intended solely for SchoolsFocus subscription-related services and platform charges.
**Processing Fee**
A processing fee may apply to each Subscription Wallet transfer. The applicable fee is automatically displayed before the transaction is completed and deducted from the source wallet.
**Access Restriction**
For security and accountability purposes, only Super Admin accounts are permitted to perform Subscription Wallet Inter-Wallet Transfers.
All transfers are protected by OTP verification and are recorded in the system audit trail for future reference.
**Important Considerations**
\* Verify the destination Subscription Wallet account number before proceeding.
\* Ensure that sufficient funds are available in the source wallet.
\* Schools should maintain appropriate records of transfer requests and approvals.
\* All successful transfers are logged and remain traceable within the system.
\* Transfers take effect immediately upon successful completion.
**Expected Outcome**
The specified amount will be transferred from the source school's Subscription Wallet to the destination school's Subscription Wallet, and both wallet balances will be updated immediately.
