To apply a filter, click on the drop down menu arrow.

Choose your preferred filter. You'll notice that the data in the dashboard will update automatically after you've chosen your filter.

Click "Apply". You'll notice that you are required to click "Apply" before the filters are applied to the data in the dashboard.

To remove filters from a multi-selection filters, you can click on the little funnel.

To remove all filters and return to your default view, you can click "Reset View" located on the ribbon in the top left hand corner.
