How to refer a settlement client

Process to help financial advisors refer clients that might need help with settling an estate.

Navigate to the "Referrals" tab of the Settlement section.

Click "Refer a client"

Select the option that applies to the situation. You can refer your clients as executors if their loved one passed or you can refer the executor of your client if your client passed.

Provide information about your client or executor. Click "Save and continue". This will save this person as the referred client.

Enter information about the deceased to the best of your ability. The province of residence might impact the offerings available in order to settle their estate. Click "Save and continue"

Select the deceased's jurisdiction to book a consultation with our team and discuss with the executor how ClearEstate can help. This consultation is free of charge. As an advisor, you will automatically be invited to that consultation. You can decide if you wish to attend or not.

Select a date and time.

The consultation is now booked and an invite was sent to your client.

You can view your referrals in the "Referrals" tab. Look for the "Consultation" column to track the date of their consultation.
