Follow this guide to verify your educational credentials and gain access to specialized features for teachers on Claude. You will learn how to submit the necessary documentation to confirm your teaching status and activate your account benefits.

Navigate to [https://claude.com/solutions/teachers#get-verified](https://claude.com/solutions/teachers#get-verified)

Account Creation

Click "Verify now"

Click "Continue with Google"

Select the agreement checkbox.

Click "Create account"

Click "For personal use"

Teacher Verification

Click "Verify now"

Click "Get started"

Verification Application

Click the "School" field and start typing the name of your school.

Select your school.

Click "Continue"

Enter your first and last name.

Click "Continue"

Click "Upload a document and add a picture of your badge or teaching certificate.

Click Submit application.

Tip! It can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours to three days to verify your certification. You do not need to install the Claude desktop app. It will prompt you to install it. You can use the web based app instead at https://claude.ai/new just sign in with Google and your @huttoisd.net account.
