How to Create an Event on FuquaConnect

Navigate to [https://fuquaconnect.duke.edu/](https://fuquaconnect.duke.edu/)

Locate the student organization using the search bar.

If you have any form of admin access to this organization, you will see a "Manage Organization" button - Click it.

Click "Create Event"

Fill in your events "Basic Details"

Provide "Time and Place" details

Select your "Event Visibility" parameters - **This dictates who can see the event.** - The public = Anyone with access to your event link can view the event details - Students & staff at FuquaConnect = Anyone with FuquaConnect access (Students, staff, partners) can view event details - Organization Members = Those who have joined your organization can view event details - Invited Users Only = User must receive an invite in order to view the event details

Choose any and all "Additional Information" details

Click "Next"

Confirm "RSVP Settings" - **This dictates who can RSVP to attend your event.** - Anyone = Any FuquaConnect user with the event link can RSVP to the event - Only invitees = Anyone who received an event invite can RSVP - No One = No option to RSVP to event will be visible

**IMPORTANT NOTE:** You can invite your organizations entire roster by checking "Invite all members of this organization and all co-hosts after event approval". *Only select this option if the event is open to EVERYONE.* ***This is only an option the FIRST time you create an event*.** If the event requires editing upon submission, this option will NOT be available and you will have to manually invite (See[how to manually send invites to a FuquaConnect event](https://scribehow.com/viewer/How_to_Invite_People_to_a_FuquaConnect_Event__Bw_J6KgPQGWjy8_CMwWV5A)).

Provide "RSVP Questions" should you choose. You may add as many questions as you wish. *Example: Ask attendees their dietary needs if you're serving food at the event.*

Click "Next"

Add any "Post Event Feedback" questions should you choose. *Example: "What did you like about this event?", "What would you have liked to discuss that wasn't included?", etc.*

Click "Next"

Add an Event Cover Photo - Make note of the image upload specifics. Note: If you do not add a photo, a default image will be used. **Highly recommend uploading your own photo to distinguish your event from others.**

Click "Skip" (if no image is uploaded) or Click "Next" if image is uploaded.

There will be a few more questions to answer throughout the event form. Once you've answered all questions, you'll be asked to "Complete Submission". **Your event is now LIVE!**
