Uplifter Mobile App Walkthrough

The Uplifter mobile app brings the membership, license and registration records supplied by participating clubs and associations into one place, and gives authorized organizers a direct way to communicate with eligible participants. This walkthrough follows the app end to end — first as a member and parent, then as an organizer.

Welcome to the Uplifter Mobile App! The Uplifter mobile app brings the membership, license and registration records supplied by participating clubs and associations into one place, and gives authorized organizers a direct way to communicate with eligible participants. This walkthrough follows the app end to end — first as a member and parent, then as an organizer.

**The mobile app is currently in a pilot phase.** Pilot participants can download the app by using the link supplied by their club or association. Features are still being added during the pilot, so some screens may change.

You can create your Uplifter mobile login the first time you sign in. Use a verified email address that a participating organization already holds for you — sign in with a six-digit email code or an available social sign-in option. Parents and guardians sign in as themselves, and the dependents they are authorized to manage appear as separate profiles. Some adult-only features, including group chat and connected fitness sources, ask the account holder to accept the current terms and confirm they are 18 or older. If you administer an enabled organization or club, use the verified email associated with your authorized administrator account so your organizer access can be matched.

If the app finds an unclaimed participant record matching your verified email, tap **This is me** to confirm the correct record. You will then see the supported memberships and registrations synchronized for your profile.

From the **Home** screen, you can see and switch between any participant profile you are authorized to manage. If your account has active organizer access, the **Organizer Tools** card appears — we will look at that in a moment. Below, the supported memberships and registrations for those profiles are listed. In this example the **guardian is Ben**, with two dependents, Quinn and Finley. Ben also holds organizer access.

The bottom navigation moves you between Home, Calendar, Messages and Account.

The **Calendar** brings your synchronized sessions and events into a swipeable week strip and a scrollable agenda, so you can see what is coming up. Only events supplied or created within your authorized scope appear here. At any time, select **Today** to return to upcoming events.

Tapping any membership opens its record, making it easy to find and show your active memberships at event check-in. Where your organization supplies one, a digital card, pass or QR code is available here too.

Let's switch to one of the profiles you are authorized to manage. With one tap, we can switch to Quinn's profile.

Now we can see Quinn’s progress, attendance and memberships. Progress and attendance appear only where the organization supplies that data. Use the **Progress** carousel or filters to view milestone achievements against skills.

Scrolling down, **Attendance** over time is colour-coded by day. Twenty-one attended, three late, three excused, and three absent.

Further along, active memberships and registrations are listed. To manage all profiles on your account, select Account.

The **Account** tab shows the information associated with your account, including passes and registrations for every athlete on it. To add a child or change a participant profile, use your account on the organization’s registration portal — the mobile app does not create or edit source participant records. In the **Passes** section a progress bar shows how many sessions have been used, and in the **Athletes** section the carousel switches to a specific athlete’s registrations.

All registrations, orders, and billing records are also showcased in this account menu, helping parents and administrators centralize important information.

Use the **gear icon** in the top-right corner to update your account settings. In **Settings** you will see your signed-in account and the email addresses used to match your records. You can add another address or manage your primary one here — a newly added address must be verified before it can match records.

The app can be configured for **families**, and offers **light** and **dark** themes with **English** and **French** interfaces.

**Push notifications** are available and can be toggled by message classification and priority. - **Operational** covers schedules, results, and org updates. - **Transactional** handles receipts, confirmations, and security notices. - **Marketing** is for news and offers. - **Emergency** is for urgent safety notices Further down, you’ll find navigation shortcuts to switch profiles or switch to Organizer mode.

The **Privacy & Data** section gives you full control to view and manage your data, or connect to outside sources. The **Legal** section includes Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

At the bottom, the **About** section provides links to support resources, sign-out and account deletion. Deleting your account removes your mobile login and the associated app data — linked sign-in identities, devices, permissions and connected-service data. Messages you wrote in the app are removed or anonymized, subject to the disclosed safety or legal retention exception. Your athlete, membership and registration records are kept by your club or association; contact them about those.

Now let’s look at the organizer experience. From the Navigation section in Settings, tap “Switch to Organizer mode” to manage your organizations and events.

Organizer access comes from your permissions on your club or Enterprise platform. Organizer tools appear once a participating organization has synchronized the required organizer permissions for your verified account — it is not something you switch on in the app.

Administrators can create a communication channel and share information with their members. Get started by clicking **Create a Chat**.

At any time, use the top menu to switch back to the non-organizer mode.

Our first step is to create a room. A room is invite-only and holds its own group chat and activities — it can cover a single event, your whole club, or your entire membership. Announcements are separate from rooms: they go to each recipient’s own private inbox rather than into a thread.

If your organization has more than one authorized organization account, this is where you choose the one you are working in. The participants you can reach in this room are calculated from the synchronized records and the permissions attached to that organization account.

Once the room is created, you can review Sent Messages, send an announcement, or start a chat. Let's create a chat!

Decide who should receive this chat thread, your entire audience or only a portion.

Confirm the total audience size and if necessary, click Edit to remove specific members in your audience.

When you build an audience, you can see a participant’s name only where that participant belongs to a membership, club or event population you are permitted to reach. You see the name and the relevant club or event context — not an email address, date of birth, contact details or unrelated affiliations. Organizer access never opens a participant’s inbox.

Compose your message using plain text. Message bodies can include up to 2,000 characters and titles up to 60 characters.

Then tag the message by classification and priority so members can organize their inbox. Members control their own notifications for Operational and Marketing messages.

Sent Messages keeps a record of what went out. The delivered count is the number the message actually reached at the moment it was sent, and it is not recalculated afterwards. The recipient names shown are the ones still covered by your current organizer access — if your access to an event ends, you keep the proof of delivery and lose the names.

In the **message inbox**, a participant can see the whole history of a room or chat thread, even if they installed the app and joined your club or event later. Organizers should treat everything in a room as visible to anyone added to it afterwards.

The message inbox also includes **profile chips for each participant**, so an authorized guardian can move between inboxes. Each participant has their own separate inbox — an announcement addressed to one child appears only in that child's inbox, not in yours and not in a sibling's. Your permission is checked each time you open an inbox, against your active guardian or manager permission on the organization's records.

While you are viewing a child’s inbox, you see the announcements addressed to that child and nothing else. Your own adult group chats stay with your own profile and are hidden here. Minors are not seated in group chats at all — where a child is part of an audience being messaged, their authorized adult guardian is invited into the room instead.

Filter tags are available to help readers find unread messages or those from a specific organization.

Both chats and announcements are visible here, with the date and sender listed on the thread. Badges surface priority tags, and an unread dot illustrates unread messages.

Further information is available when a thread is opened. Members can leave a thread at any time, but only organizers create rooms, chats and announcements — and **members cannot discover or add themselves to a room they were not invited to.**

Once an organizer has created a chat room, they can visit the Message menu and add different types of messages into a chat thread, including Events, Polls, and Sign-Up sheets. These are pinned to the chat thread so your members can engage with the posts and also collapse them in the thread. Each one is designed for common use cases that clubs currently handle through external tools.

Sign-Up posts help manage activities with limited spots. Once you've entered in your preferred text, select **Add to room** to pin it to the chat channel.

Polls help organizers ask a question with up to 6 options. Each participant gets one vote. In this example we ask the athletes “Where should we meet?"

And the Event RSVP post helps take a simple attendance, like who is coming to our Team Dinner? Participants can respond with Going, Maybe, or Can’t go, and can update their answer in the future.

Back in the chat, your members can use a carousel scroll to review any pinned posts.

**A room’s history is visible when you join it.** Anyone added to a room can read what was sent before they arrived. **Minors are not seated in group chats.** Where a child is part of an audience being messaged, their authorized adult guardian is invited instead. Other room members see the adult participants, not the child roster. **Each participant has their own announcement inbox,** and a guardian’s permission is checked every time they open one. **Announcement recipients never see one another.**

**Organizers can reach only the people and groups their current permissions cover.** They may see a participant’s name and club or event context — not contact details, date of birth or unrelated affiliations. **Room access and moderation are room-scoped.** An organization administrator does not automatically inherit access to private coach-to-guardian or club-created rooms.

**Deleting your account removes your mobile login and app data.** Your athlete, membership and registration records are kept by your club or association.
