How To Resolve Excess Incoming Payments In Ascend

Learn how to accurately reconcile incoming payments by resolving excess funds within your Ascend dashboard.

Navigate to [https://dashboard.useascend.com/accounting/incoming_payments](https://dashboard.useascend.com/accounting/incoming_payments)

Select the payment you want to reconcile

Search for the invoice you want to reconcile

Select the matching invoice from the search results

The warning message will show you the excess amount sent by the insured but not applied to an invoice. If you want to refund the excess to the insured, click resolve.
