Internal Employee - How to Apply For a Position

This job aid walks current employees of W&M through the process of applying for a posted position. All internal W&M applicants MUST apply through the Workday Internal Jobs Hub instead of the external career site. This includes current Student Employees applying for Staff or Faculty positions.

Workday

On the W&M page, at the bottom click "Careers at W&M"

Click "Job Hub For Current Employees"

Select "W&M SSO" to sign in.

Click "Browse Jobs" icon in sidebar.

Search for the job title in the internal jobs search field.

Select the appropriate job title from the job listing.

Job Application

Click "Apply"

Your personal information should populate from Workday. Review it for accuracy before moving to the section to upload your resume and cover letter.

To load your resume and cover letter click "Select files". Select the correct files from the popup and select "save"

Complete the Internal Candidate Questionaire

When you have completed the application, Click "Submit"
