How to Review Screening Hits

Learn how to review screening hits in SILO by comparing the information returned in the screening result with the information known about your client. Correctly reviewing screening hits helps distinguish genuine matches from false positives, ensuring an accurate and auditable screening record.

If you receive a notification that a profile has screening hits to review, open the profile from the notification or locate it using **Profile Search**.

In the profile with screening hits to review, click **Hits need review**, or scroll down to the **Screening Hits** table.

If more than five hits are returned, click **Score** to sort the results and prioritise those with the highest matching scores.

To review a screening hit, click the **QR Code**.

Review the available information, such as addresses and year of birth. If additional information is required, click **Download PDF** to view the full screening report.

If you determine the screening result is not a match, select **Not a match**.

In the **Review comment** field, enter a brief explanation for your decision, for example where the year of birth or address does not match.

Click **Save review** to record your decision.

Once your review has been saved, click **Back to Profile**.

If additional screening hits remain, click **Hits need review** and repeat the review process, comparing the screening result with the information known about your client.

If there is insufficient information to make a decision, click **Download PDF** and compare the screening report with the information known about your client before recording your review.

When the **All results reviewed** message appears, all screening hits have been reviewed. The message also confirms whether any matches were identified.
