How to add a third party to an Entity

Learn how to add third party connections to an Entity profile in SILO. Use this connection type to record relationships such as Third Parties, Fund Administrators, Authorised Signatories, Billing Contacts, FATCA Responsible Officers, Investment Managers, Liquidators and Policy Holders. Other Connections are used to record relationships that are not Directors or Shareholders, helping you maintain complete and accurate profile records.

To begin, locate the **Entity profile** you want to add a third party to.

Click **Profiles** → **Search Profiles**. \ Enter the Entity name or **Profile ID** in the search bar, then click the hyperlinked **Profile ID** to open the profile.

Click the **Connections** tab.

Click **Edit**.

In the **Other Connections** table at the bottom of the page, click **Add**.

Search for and select the profile you want to connect

Select the **Role**, complete the available date fields if applicable, and enter any **Notes**.\ \ Click "**Create**"\ \ **Note:** If the required **Role** is not listed, contact SILO Support through **Sage** to have it added.

Click "**Save**"

Once saved, the **Other Connections** table updates automatically with the new connection.
