In the **Create Document** module, complete all relevant fields
- You can either upload a file or add a URL
- Once complete, click **Create**
If you are uploading a passport or other government issued ID, ensure the **Identifying** tick box is selected. This is critical for feeding information into various regulatory reports.
**Notes:**
- Adding an **Expiration Date** allows SILO to track document validity and helps ensure nothing is missed during reviews.
- Selecting the correct **Document Type** is important, as **CDD Required** configuration is based on document type. Choosing the wrong document type may prevent the document from satisfying the profile's due diligence requirements.
