🔳 When should I use the Workroom Printer / Copier?

Use the workroom printer / copier for quick, small quantities. Staff members are allocated $50 each school year for workroom copies ($0.03 for each copy, black & white only). To print from the workroom copier, select the printer destination: NP_Print on Papercut-NP

Note: You must be at school and on the ISD721-Secure network to access the printer destination.

🔳 Why does my print job fail when sending copies to the workroom printer/copier?

The workroom printer/copier uses PaperCut to manage the print jobs. PaperCut must be running in the system tray to deliver the print job. Make sure your computer is connected to the ISD721-Secure network and that PaperCut is running in the system tray on your computer.

🔳 Is there a limit to the number of copies I can send to the workroom copier?

Yes, each workroom print job is limited to 50 copies. Send large jobs to the CEC Copy Center.

🔳 Can I send print jobs to the workroom copier from home?

No, workroom print jobs must be submitted at school from a school computer.

🔳 How do I scan paper copies into digital files?

If you have a paper copy, you can scan the document as a PDF and save it to your Google Drive or send it as an email attachment.

🔳 How do I send print jobs to the CEC Copy Center?

Use the CEC Copy Center for bulk print jobs. Please allow the Copy Center 2-business days to deliver copies to your school PO box. These copies do not count against your $50 annual budget.

🔳 How do I request "sets" of copies for each teacher on my grade level team?

If you are making copies for your department/grade-level team, you will need to enter the TOTAL Order Quantity. For example, if you need 5 sets of 25 copies, enter 125.

🔳 Is there a limit to the number of copies I can send to the CEC Copy Center?

Unlike the workroom copier, there is no limit to the number of copies you can send to the CEC Copy Center. Please request only the number of copies you will need. Your school / department is billed back for the number of copies requested.

🔳 Can I send print jobs to the CEC Copy Center from home?

Yes, the process of sending jobs to the Copy Center from home is the same as it is from school.

🔳 How do I print to the CEC Copy Center if I only have a paper copy?

If you have a paper copy, you can scan the document, convert it into a digital file, and print the digital file as you would with any other document in your Google Drive.

🔳 How do I save a decodeable PDF as a booklet for printing?

If your decodeable PDF only displays one page at a time, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to save it in "booklet" format. This will allow PrintNet to print the file as a small reading booklet.
