Scan Paper Copies into Digital Files

Scan in with your **key fob**... *or you can sign in with your computer username/password* ***Note***: *The [**first time**](https://scribehow.com/shared/Send_Print_Job_to_a_Workroom_Copier_Copy__xVSuO881Tu2AHKKtVD-Z7g) you scan your key fob, you must **associate** it with your username/password.*

Place the **paper copy** "face up" in the top loader tray

Tap the **Scan** button

Select your preferred **Scan Action**... • Scan to **My Email**\ • Scan to my **Google Drive**

If prompted, select your **building** or **department**...

Enter a **subject** / **file name**... to adjust options, tap **Change settings**... tap **Start**

Tap one of the three options: **Scan a New Document**, **Scan Next Page**, or **Finish**

**Note**: The first time you send a scanned file to your Google Drive, you will receive an email message asking you to authorize your account. After you allow PaperCut to access your Google Drive, a new folder will be created: **Scans for PaperCut MF** - Your scanned files will be sent and saved to this folder each time you scan.

To authorize PaperCut access to your Google Drive, open the email from **PaperCut MF** and click the **Login to Google Drive** button...

Click the **Allow** and **Continue** buttons to grant access...

The **success screen** will confirm the authorization is complete...

Another email message will arrive indicating your scanned file is now stored in your Google Drive folder named: **Scans for PaperCut MF**
