**Note**: The following settings should be changed for **EACH** class.

Click the class to change its **default** settings...

In the upper-right corner of the class page, click the **settings** gear icon

**Note for Step #3**: All **Secondary** teachers **should** use this feature. It will let you sync assignment scores to your IC Grade Book. *(Unfortunately, it does **not** work with the **elementary** standards-based report card.)*

Under **General** > **SIS integration**, your class should already be linked to your SIS (Infinite Campus) class section. This allows you to export grades from GC to IC. ***Note:*** *If your class is not linked, click **Link**🔗... then select the correct **IC** class.*

Under **General** > **Manage invite codes** should be **Turned** off

Under **General** > **Stream**... select **Only teachers can post or comment**

Under **General** > **Classwork on the Stream**... select **Hide notifications**

Under **General** > **Guardian Access**... turn the Guardian summaries and preview **On**

Under **General** > **Manage Meet link**... click the **Generate Meet link** button

Make sure the **Visible to students** option is turned **On**

Under **Grading** > **Grading periods**... click the **Import from SIS** button

Under **Grading** > **Grade categories**... click the **Import from SIS** button

In the upper-right corner of the settings page, click the **Save** button

**Note**: Remember to repeat these steps for **EACH** class.
