Creating Time Slabs
You can define a location’s operating hours for each day of the week by creating time slabs, which represent the specific time windows during which the location is open and operational.
6
Click **Add** next to the specific day you want to define time slab(s) for.
7
Use the first dropdown to set the start time of the time slab.
8
Use the second dropdown to set the end time of the time slab.
For a given day, you can create multiple time slabs—for example, 08:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00—to reflect breaks, partial-day operations, or non-continuous working hours.
Assigning Priority Levels For Time Slabs
When a location has multiple opening-hour time windows (**time slabs**), you can assign a priority level to each time slab to control how the Routing Engine evaluates them during planning. Priority levels are ordered from highest to lowest (top to bottom), with higher-priority slabs considered first to ensure deliveries are scheduled within the most critical operating periods.
9
Click the dropdown next to the intended time slab.
10
Choose a priority level for that time slab.
11
Click **"Save"** to apply your changes.
