If you don't have a verified email address on Language Depot, you won't be able to follow this guide.

On your dashboard click "Create Project"

Choose a name for your project

Choose the appropriate project type (FLEx, OneStory Editor, WeSay etc.)

**Organizations** are a new feature that is not yet documented. You will only have an organization to select if a site Admin has added you to one.

(Optional) Select the organization you want your project to be added to

Choose the purpose of your project

Enter the [ethnologue code](https://www.ethnologue.com/) of your target language (e.g. *geh* for Hutterisch)

Enter a description for your project

Indicate whether your project is confidential or not (see [Project Confidentiality](https://scribehow.com/shared/Confidentiality__s6TX8_wFQ1ejVpH1s5Bsmw))

Click "Create Project" (or "Request Project" see note below)

If you've never been the **Manager** of a project, the button will be called "Request Project" and it will send the form to an admin for approval. You'll have to wait for an admin to create the project for you before you can continue. Only ***some*** admins are notified about the request. If you're in contact with a particular admin, you can let them know that the request will be at the top of the Admin project table.
