View the Types & Levels of Care a Resident Receives from Third-Party Providers

This guide shows nursing directors and managers how to use the Care Report to spot changing resident needs, prioritize who needs extra support, and catch duplicate services from multiple agencies. It highlights trend analysis, monthly insights (total care hours, service types, residents with care), social-visit (Love Meter) data, and resident-level detail so you can quickly drill down into visits, providers, and care breakdowns for better staffing and care decisions.

To help you better understand this report, you may want to click the "Trends" tab, which gives nursing directors a clear, proactive view of changing resident needs. By analyzing skilled nursing and social visit trends over the past 90 days, you can quickly identify shifts in daily routines and prioritize residents who may require extra support.

If you scroll down, you'll see an analysis that highlights residents with rising care needs or dropping social baselines. It also features a smart tracking tool that flags if a resident is inadvertently receiving the same type of care from multiple external agencies.

Outside of the "Trends" tab, you can choose to view data from the previous four months. Click on the name of the month that you wish to review.

Underneath the months, you will see insights that highlight the Total Care Hours, Total Service Types, and number of Residents With Care for that given month. Next to each insight will be a percentage that will indicate if there's been a positive or negative change.

To the right is a snapshot of Love Meter data. You can quickly see the number of residents with zero social visits for that month. The "Residents Enrolled" field shows the number of residents that have been enrolled in [Project Love Meter](https://projectlovemeter.com/) during the time frame being viewed. If you want to dive deeper into this data, you can click the "Project Love Meter" section to be redirected to that specific report.

When provider's sign-in, the kiosk asks them to confirm the type of service they are providing to residents. This graph shows the types and amounts of service coming into your community. You can toggle between viewing provider's "Primary" service type and their "Secondary" service type.

The "Resident Snapshot" section displays the total number of active residents, plus the number who have received a hospice visit during the time frame being viewed. You will then see the number of care related visits received by residents that fall into four categories: 1. Physician Services (ex. Medical Doctor) 2. Therapeutic Services (ex. PT, OT, Speech) 3. Nursing Services (Visits by RN, LPN or LVN) 4. Self-Employed Provider Visits

As you scroll down the page, you will see a list of your residents who have received care during the selected time period. You’ll see total care received, the breakdown of number of companies that have visited the resident, along how many hospice, self employed, nursing, therapy or physician visits.

If you need to view a resident’s care visits in more detail, click on the resident’s name to explore more.

Clicking on a resident's name brings up their profile. Through their profile, you can see all of their resident sign outs, provider and guest visits, along with any Reputaiton Accelerator ratings left by the resident or their visitors. The data included will be for the last 4 months, but you can access more data by going to the associated log.

Click "close" to be taken back to the Care Report.
