Create a Google Assignment Dropbox Link in Moodle

Navigate to your Moodle Course

Click "Add an activity or resource"

Click "Google Assignments"

Click "Select content"

You will be brought to this page if you have not yet set up Google Assignments for the course. Click "Link"

Click "Link" again on the next screen.

You are brought to the Google Assignment settings page

You can turn on Google's Originality tool to check for plagiarism.

You can "Attach" files directly from your Google Drive or Upload from your device and each student will get a copy made for themselves.

You can also Create a new Google Doc, Sheet, Slide, and/or Drawing to attach to the assignment.

Clicking on "New Doc" for example

Adds an "Untitled document" link to the assignment. Click on this link to open that resource.

You can change the name of the created resource

Here you can also see the location in Google Drive "VM 4.5 Demo"

You can make additional edits as needed to change total points, due date, and to use a rubric.

You can create a new rubric, reuse an existing one, or import from Sheets.

Click "Create" when you are finished making changes to the settings.

You can update the Activity name now.

Click one of the "Save" options below to continue, once you've made additional changes.

We can now see the Google Assignment has been added to the course page.

As an instructor, if you click the link, you will be brought to this page here. You can edit the title and instructions, as well as make other changes to items such as total points, due date, attach additional files and a rubric if you have not already. You can also see statistics on the submissions.
