Enabling Zoom's AI Tools

Navigate to Adelphi's eCampus page [https://portal.adelphi.edu/](https://portal.adelphi.edu/#services)

Under "Find a Service" click "Zoom"

Click "Sign in" to use Single Sign-On to redirected to <https://adelphiuniversity.zoom.us/>

In the left side menu, click "Settings"

Zoom AI Companion in Meetings

Zoom's AI Companion can automatically create a summary of your meeting once it ends. As the host, you can decide who gets the summary—just you, your organization, or all meeting invitees, including those outside your organization. You can also choose to have the summary automatically generated at the start of every meeting and decide if you want the summary text included in an email notification. This feature makes it easy to keep everyone informed and on the same page.

To turn on "Meeting Summary" click this toggle

To decide who automatically receives the meeting summary after the meeting is completed, select one of the following: "Only me (meeting host)", "Only me (meeting host) and meeting invitees in our organization", and "All meeting invitees including those outside of our organization"

Enable OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Settings for Screen Share to enhance Meeting Summary by including information available through shared screen views

You can choose to allow users to ask AI Companion questions about the meeting. You can set this to "Only hosts", "All participants only from when they join", or "All participants and invitees"

Zoom AI Companion for Recordings

Zoom's AI Companion enhances cloud recordings by adding useful features like recording highlights, summaries, smart chapters, next steps, and meeting coach insights. These tools help you quickly find important moments, understand key takeaways, and easily navigate through the recording. The AI Companion makes it easier to review and act on your meetings, saving you time and improving productivity.

Enable "Smart Recording" and select whether you'd like to include "Recording highlights", "Smart chapters", "Next steps", or "Meeting coach" to the Zoom Cloud Recording

Zoom AI Companion for Whiteboard

Zoom's AI Companion makes it easy to generate content on your whiteboard. You can generate sticky notes, tables, text, or mindmaps by entering a command or selecting from suggested ideas. Adjust or refine the results as needed, and click the checkmark icon when you're satisfied with the content.
