Create a Web Page (HTML File) in BSP

Navigate to the module in which you wish to create a new page[ ](https://mylearning.suny.edu/d2l/le/content/36176/Home?itemIdentifier=D2L.LE.Content.ContentObject.ModuleCO-36241528)

Click "Upload / Create"

Click "Create a File (Web Page)"

Enter a title for the page in the "Enter a Title" field Note: It is beneficial to generate unique titles for all topics/items you build in BSP

You can click the "Hide from Users" field if you do not want students to access the page. Remember that the "Hide" feature in BSP is not overridden by start/end dates.

Add the page contents to the editing field. Note: We will cover the rich text editor in more depth. The editor allows you many options to create engaging and dynamic content.

Click "Save and Close"

To edit your page, click the chevron next to the page title.

Click "Edit HTML (Web Page)"

Click the "Notify students that the content has changed" field if you have made substantive changes to a page that students have already had access to. Note: if you select this option you can provide details to the students about what changes were made.

Click "Save and Close"
