How to Edit a Job on FarmCommand

In this guide, I will show you how to edit a job that was created automatically by field data layers (planting maps) being added to FarmCommand Jobs are a great way to keep track of operations on the farm and they allow supply expenses to flow into the In-Season and Post-Harvest portion of the Profit Summary Jobs can be created manually or automatically by CanPlug activity in the field or by field data layers being created with uploaded monitor data or third party integration such as John Deere Operations Center

Navigate to [https://www.farmcommand.com/jobs](https://www.farmcommand.com/jobs)

Select the job by clicking the checkbox next to the field

Click the "edit" icon

Selecting the operator and equipment isn't necessary but it's a good way to easily keep track of the operation

Click the drop down to see a list of operators to pick from

Choose the correct option

Click here to add the equipment that was used for this job

Choose the machine

Choose the implement

Supplies are a crucial part of the job - they allow the supply expenses to flow into the Crop Planner's Profit Summary so adding them to the job is always a good idea

Click here to move onto adding the supplies used for this job

Click here to add a supply

Click the drop down arrow to bring up a list of your supplies

Scroll down to the supply you want to add and click it to add it

Click the "Rate" field to type in the rate you applied the product

Click "Save" button when you're finished

Back on the Jobs list, you can see the columns filled out with everything we added
