Creating a Video with Captions on Zoom

Navigate to zoom.us

Select "Sign in"

Click "Sign in with SSO"

Type in "occc" as the company domain and click "Continue"

Click "Settings"

Click "Meeting"

Go to "In Meeting (Advanced)"

Toggle on automated captions

Enable automated captions

Next, click "Recording"

Click "Create audio transcript"

Save changes

Next, start a new meeting

Click "Join with Computer Audio"

Press record

Select "Record to the cloud"

When finished, stop recording

Your recording will begin uploading to the cloud once the meeting has ended

The meeting assets will appear in your inbox. Follow the link to view your transcript

Click "Edit Transcript"

Click "save"

After you have edited the captions, forward the email you received from Zoom to [CLT@occc.edu](mailto:CLT@occc.edu). We will add the video to our streaming server and send you a code to embed the video in your Moodle course.
