Importing Old Turnitin Assignments

Here's how to import old Turnitin assignments to save you time and effort. This process generally involves copying the assignment settings and paper repository from the old course to the new one, ensuring you maintain consistent settings and access to prior submissions for comparative analysis.

Go to the module you want your Turnitin assignments imported into.

Toggle on "Edit mode".

Click the plus sign.

Click "Activity or resource"

Click on "Turnitin New".

Click "Select content".

Scroll down and click "Copy".

Select course. Click "Copy Assignments".

Click the Turnitin assignments you want to import. Click "Copy Assignments".

Click the start, due, and release dates to add dates to your assignments. Scroll down to each assignment imported to add dates.

Click the date and time needed.

Click "Save"

Click "Save and return to course." The imported Turnitin assignments will appear in the module you selected.
